Newly renovated nice basic hotel with pleasant and accommodating staff during the night shift. Nice building and rooms with in efficient heating.

The location was magnificent, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from a three - level shopping centre. The workers were efficient, setting is in 15 minutes' walk to the downtown. We only slept at the double room with a hot tub and a fireplace, but enjoyed it.

clean, very quiet, has comfortable beds, friendly and knowledgeable staff; located in downtown Ottawa within easy walking distance to University of Ottawa and Parliament Buildings, excellent high-speed internet access in room; excellent for short business trips
dated decor, view from window not at all appealing (rear of supermarket and parking lot) and immediate surrounding neighborhood somewhat dilapidated, restaurant currently under renovation

A surprise guest at 3AM
The staff was friendly, fixing our refrigerator promptly. The downtown location made it easy to explore Ottawa.
Our last night was disrupted by someone entering our room. The cleanliness could have been improved. We found hair in the shower.
